Human trafficking affects over 160 countries according to the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime. With an estimate of 35.8 million modern day slaves in the world today. This issue is one that is very close to heart. From learning about this issue this blog and the Like the Dawn Shop was started. I wanted to create a platform and a practical way to help in the fight against human trafficking. My goal for Ltd. is to help raise awareness about the nefarious crime and also provide a way for other people to help make a difference in the lives of those who are caught in the enslavement. Ltd. still has a very far way to go before it becomes what I have envisioned it to be. I do believe that God can do exactly that and even more than what I have envisioned.
If you would like to find out more about human trafficking there are some great resources out there. Here is a list of Ltd. favourite resources. I have compiled two different list, one with basics on human trafficking and the second with some of the more hardcore readings such as government treaties and reports.
