Through grief and transition. Heartbreak and waiting. Job loss and rebuilding. Whatever season your heart finds itself in, we all need love and truth to soak the soil beneath our feet.

I know this because I've walked through these seasons myself.

Even when we can't yet see the blooms, I believe something sacred is still taking root. If we allow our hearts to stay connected to love and truth, the flowers that emerge in time will be beautiful beyond what we imagined.

Doubt, overwhelm, anxiety, and depression can make us feel stuck, buried, or bound by our circumstances. Yet flowers still grow in these places. In fact, some of the most sacred and wild blooms grow from the hardest seasons.

I've always believed flowers are physical reminders of life. Every stem, leaf, color, and bloom carries its own quiet beauty. They are living things, and I believe the language of flowers is heard through the heart.

I also believe words carry life.

While I can't personally hug every person in Denver walking through a difficult season, I can create and share small reminders of love, hope, and encouragement through this project.

Like the Dawn is inspired by Isaiah 58:8:

"Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear."

Through seasons of heartbreak, disappointment, chronic health challenges, and learning to let God gently heal what was wounded, there have been many dawns in my own story. Moments where light returned. Moments where healing arrived. Moments where I encountered love, support, and hope when I needed it most.

My hope is that the flowers I create and the words I share bring a little more light, healing, and love into Colorado.
